Guidelines for a respectful visit

Photography

You may take photos for personal use. The use of flash, tripods, selfie sticks, and any other professional equipment is strictly forbidden to protect the artworks and ensure visitor safety.

Bags and Luggage

Large backpacks, bags, and umbrellas must be left at the free cloakroom near the Pitti Palace entrance. Only small bags are permitted inside the gardens.

Prohibited Activities

Do not touch statues or architectural elements. Walking on lawns, picking flowers, feeding animals, and playing with balls are not allowed. Picnics are also forbidden.

Animals

Only guide dogs for the disabled, with a certificate, are allowed in the gardens. No other pets are permitted.
