Inside the Gardens
The only place to get refreshments inside the gardens is the Kaffeehaus, an 18th-century rococo pavilion with beautiful views. It serves coffee, drinks, and light snacks. Be aware that its opening hours are often limited and seasonal, so it may not be open during your visit. There are also several drinking water fountains throughout the park.
Casual Bites Nearby
The Oltrarno district is famous for its authentic, affordable food. Just a short walk from the Pitti Palace, you can find excellent panini at All'antico Vinaio (be prepared for a queue) or grab a slice of pizza al taglio. For a sweet treat, head to Gelateria della Passera in the charming Piazza della Passera.

For a traditional Tuscan meal, try Trattoria La Casalinga for classic, home-style cooking. Osteria Santo Spirito is another local favorite, known for its lively atmosphere and delicious pasta dishes. Both offer a true taste of Florentine cuisine away from the main tourist crowds.

Exiting the Boboli Gardens into the Oltrarno neighborhood is an experience in itself. This area, known as Florence's artisan quarter, is filled with workshops, small boutiques, and authentic restaurants. After your visit to the gardens, take some time to wander the streets around Piazza Santo Spirito. It's the perfect place to enjoy an aperitivo and soak up the local atmosphere, completing your day on the "other side" of the Arno.
